Welcome to Monterey Dune Haven, your secluded hideaway for a never-to-be-forgotten vacation! Nestled on the Monterey Peninsula, this luxurious retreat sits amongst 120 individually-owned homes, stretched over a mile of colorful, sandy beachfront. The area is known for its hundreds of festivals, tournaments, shows, races, and tours - making it a perfect destination for the whole family. Spend your days engaging in some playful competition on some of the world's finest golf courses, watching the whales from the home's back deck, and saying hello to the unique wildlife at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Additional hotspots nearby include Pebble Beach and Moss Landing's numerous antique shops.

When you aren't relishing the surf and the sand, collecting seashells, and watching the sea otters at play, head for the community's shared pool, tennis court, or volleyball court.

When a break from the sun is warranted, head inside the luxurious interior of Monterey Dune Haven. Here, the living is full of light, adorned with high-end furnishings, and decked with modern amenities. Floor-to-ceiling windows highlight the expansive living room with a large TV, ample seating, and beautiful artwork. The adjacent gourmet kitchen radiantly gleams with its granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and center island. When mealtime rolls around, family-style meals can be indulged in at the large formal dining table.

Comfort is in abundance in each of the four bedrooms. Well decorated with subtle hints of nautical living, the bedrooms offer soft linens, private TVs, and plentiful storage space. Additional interior perks include a separate washer/dryer, a fireplace, an EV charger, and internet access.

As the waves crash, fire up the provided gas grill on the patio and host a sweet summer barbecue. Also, outside, you'll find a pleasant seating area and a firepit.

Guest must directly pay an additional resort fee of $38 per night upon arrival.
All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Really lovely stay. The dunes on the beach were absolutely gorgeous. The beach was secluded and wild and so pretty. The house was really comfortable, cozy and well furnished. Super clean. Great for my group of 5 adults and 2 kids. We had everything we needed. Check in and check out were smooth and easy. Definitely would recommend! The only thing was we couldn’t find the fire pit. Maybe they removed it.

Fantastic location with gorgeous views and access to the beach right out the back door. The home was very comfortable for 8 people. My only feedback is that they did not have enough basic supplies - for instance, there was only 1 garbage bag for 8 people for a 3 night stay. Overall it was a great trip and I hope to come back some day.

The Kitchen was fully stocked, with plenty of plateware, glassware and tons of utensils. The bedrooms were so comfy with every room having its own cozy blanket at the end of the bed, and super cozy beds. Our whole experience was fabulous! We are already planning a return trip!

Outstanding property! It was clean, well appointed, fully equipped with towels, paper goods, kitchen needs. We are a group of women friends who enjoy cooking at home and found everything we needed. The location is fantastic on the waterfront; it. was quiet, safe; we had the beach to ourselves! The home was extremely comfortable. We loved the home and highly recommend it!

Great home on the ocean.

Beautiful home on the ocean. Well decorated. Comfortable beds and living room furniture. Kitchen well equipped but a little small. Would definitely book this home again.

Beautiful Beach House

Everything was wonderful, beautifully furnished, stocked kitchen with new appliances and kitchen tools/pots and pans. The ocean waves were heard throughout the house morning and night. It was a fantastic stay, thank you!

Perfect in Every Way

This house was beautifully set up with such a spectacular and magical view. Quick walk to quiet and expansive ocean. Short walk to pool and activity complex. We were two families with 4 kids ages 6-9. Each family member, adult and child had an incredible time and we barely left the complex.

This was our third stay at Monterey Dunes and our first during winter. The home was very cozy and perfect for our family on four adults and two grandkids. Kitchen was well supplied and updated quality appliances. Beds were comfortable with great mattresses. Beach was just steps away although we we there during tide warnings so stayed close to the dunes. Great spot for relaxation, a very private beach, and home cooking. Not the best spot if you’re looking for fancy restaurants.

We love staying at the Monterey Dunes Colony complex and usually end up at different rentals every year because of availability. There are always small quirks about each place, but this unit was the cleanest and well maintained. When we needed assistance, they were quick to reply and the local manager called within 10 minutes. A great stay all around!

Amazing Views

This house is just beautiful. The views from the two story windows to the furnishings. The beds are comfortable and everything was clean. You can walk to the beach from your back door in minutes. The children ages 1-16 had fun at the beach and playing basketball/pickleball at the clubhouse. The clubhouse is a 15 minute walk away. Getting to the aquarium is a 25 minute drive and pebble beach is 30. The only minor troubles we had were getting the tvs to work (needed new batteries) and there were only 6 towels and 2 beach towels for 8 people. Pack some extras and you are set. We would totally stay here again. It was such a fun family home.

This Home is Amazing

Had a great experience with the home. Getting into the gated community was easy and smooth, the guard at the front gate was so friendly and helpful. Kitchen was furnished with plenty of utensils and plates. Bedrooms had blankets and sheets and super comfy throw blankets. Plenty of towels for bathrooms as well. Internet was fast and never lagged. The home had plenty of room for our group of 9. The living room are was spacious and had an amazing view of the beach. Beach access was directly behind the house. Loved sitting on the porch to watch the sunset in the evening. Renting this home was the perfect way to spend the holiday.

Wonderful Stay

The house is exactly as it appears in the photographs. The beds were very comfortable. Everything that you need for a great stay is in the house. The only negative we have is that it was a little pricey for the length of stay we had.
